Primary School · Grades 1 – 5

Where good habits become strengths

Our primary years combine structured teaching with genuine care, so children leave Grade 5 with strong literacy and numeracy, real curiosity and the confidence to succeed at their next school.

Grades 1 – 2: becoming a student

The move from Montessori to Grade 1 is gentle. Children keep the independence they have built while learning to sit for longer, follow a timetable and take pride in a finished exercise book.

  • Daily phonics, reading and handwriting
  • Number bonds, place value and early problem solving
  • Urdu reading and writing
  • Simple science and social studies through themes
  • Short, regular homework habits

Grades 3 – 5: growing in depth

Subjects broaden, expectations rise and children begin to take real ownership of their learning — researching, presenting, competing and helping younger students.

  • Comprehension, composition and grammar in English and Urdu
  • Mathematics with reasoning and multi-step problems
  • Science with experiments and projects
  • Social studies, Islamiyat and general knowledge
  • Study skills that prepare children for the next school
A primary school day

The rhythm of the day

  1. 01

    Morning assembly

Dua, the national anthem, a thought for the day and a chance for classes to present.

  2. 02

    Lessons

Focused teaching blocks with clear objectives, guided practice and feedback.

  3. 03

    Break & play

Time to run, eat and be with friends — an important part of the day, not an interruption to it.

  4. 04

    Creative & co-curricular time

Art, physical education, library, competitions and project work through the week.

Partnership with parents

You'll always know how your child is doing

Regular reports, parent–teacher meetings and an open door in between. When something needs attention, you hear about it early.

Diaries, notices and WhatsApp keep day-to-day communication simple. Progress reports and meetings give a fuller picture each term.

We also ask something of parents: a daily reading habit, an interest in what was learnt today, and a quick word to the class teacher whenever something is on your mind.
